This list will be evolving. Once a year, I’ll release an end of year video, but for the most up-to-date gear, that will all be placed below.

The gear in my bag is comprised of multiple purposes, and each is laid out in the following categories: Shoes, Lifting Accessory, Recovery, Warm-Up, Other. My training is comprised mostly of a CrossFit style workout, so this list is aimed for power lifting, Olympic lifting, gymnastics, and high intensity interval training.

First, the most important thing.

The Bag: The Haven Large Duffle

My YouTube Review

I can’t tell you how much I love and appreciate what this new company has created in this bag. I have searched high and low, and spent literal thousands on trying different bags. Personally, I’m easily annoyed when a product doesn’t achieve exactly what I need it to. For a bag, I needed something that held everything in a well organized manner. This was it. As of the date I’m writing this, I know the owners are having some COVID related issues to their manufacturing and getting inventory out. I will say, it’s worth the wait!

Cross Training Shoes: Nike Metcon 7

My Metcon 7 Review

I assure you, this is not the case of wanting the latest and greatest. I believe that Nike truly hit this one out of the park with their adjustments over their previous models. I was not a big fan of the Metcon 6, and would urge people to buy the Reebok Nano X as their first cross training shoe. Although I believe the style of the Metcon 7 could be improved, the functionality of it is phenomenal. My only gripe is that I wish it came in a high top. Check out my review for more details.
